Seedlings & Transplants
From Lead Supplier Jim Rockis
The industry’s most trusted source, Jim Rockis, offers a product that is second to none. The key ingredient is paying attention to detail. This idea is so important because there are a number of sequences that must be followed to the utmost degree in the production of transplants. If one step is not performed in the proper manner, a portion or the entire crop could fail.
Our plants are west coast grown and selected to grow in the harsh climates of the Eastern United States. This method of production and selection of species has had an excellent track record for more than 15 years. The performance of this product will allow the grower to achieve better survivability and come into the market with a sellable tree sooner than when conventional methods are used.

A bed of transplants being lifted.
Our trees are lifted when they are in their deepest degree of dormancy. The product is then graded and boxed. The next step is to freeze the trees at our state of the art refrigeration facility. The trees are then transported to the east coast storage facility located in Fairchance, PA. The trees are then distributed into the east coast market from February through May.
If your climate allows you to plant in February, we can accommodate your needs. If you cannot plant until May, we will also do our best to meet this time frame.
This has been a brief description of how and why we are one of the lead suppliers in the nursery industry. Jim Rockis would be happy to discuss the many other attributes that this product possesses. Just give him a call at (304) 282-3470 or visit the Contact page for more information.
